Coaches

Patrick Wales-Dinan has over 18 years of coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, and club level. He has coached the Bay Area Track Club for the past 7 years. In addition to coaching the Bay Area Track Club, Patrick is the head cross country and track coach at Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA.

Prior to coaching at Monte Vista, he was the Head Women’s Cross Country & Assistant Track coach at Harvard University from 2014-2017 and the Cross Country and Track coach at Long Beach State University from 2012-2014. Additionally, he was an assistant coach at Duke University and Williams College. Patrick has coached over 15 NCAA All-Americans and 10 USATF Championship and Olympic Trials Qualifiers.

Brandon Lawrence In an assistant coach at Wake Forest University. Prior to that he was a track and field coach at Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA. Brandon has helped lead the Mustangs to multiple CIF qualifying performances and over 15 top 10 all-time performances. Prior to coaching at Monte Vista he directed the distance program at his alma mater Hercules High School where he coach Ryan Cutter to an NCS Championship in cross country.
